Biography:

I received the Laurea degree in electronic engineering from the University of Palermo, Italy, in July 2003 with the highest mark. During my master thesis, I also visited for 8 months the TAIT department, University of Ulm, Germany .

Since November 2003 I was involved as a research engineer at the University of Palermo in Electrical Engineering Department. In November 2004 I moved to the University of Roma Tor Vergata, Italy, as PhD student in Telecommunication Engineering under supervision of Prof. G. Bianchi. I spent 2007 as a visiting PhD student at Hamilton Institute, Ireland, where I was involved in a project with Intel Lab, CMU Pittsburgh, USA, that I visited during May 2007.

Recently I came back —until February 2008— at the University of Palermo for a joint project with the University of Rome. In March 2008 I got my PhD in Rome and I moved to Barcelona, Spain, as a Junior Researcher.
