Biography

Karen is a Junior Researcher with the Multimedia Scientific Team in Telefonica Research, Barcelona, Spain. She received her PhD in Computer Science entitled, "A Study of Mobile Internet Usage and Implications for Mobile Search Interfaces" from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2008. Karen's current research focus is on future mobile information access and social mobile search services with a specific focus on mobile user behaviour.

• Feb 1st: I've been award a Marie Curie fellowship. Working through some paper-work at the moment but am looking forward to working here at Telefonia Research on future mobile search/mobile information access!
